As Mohegan continues its journey, the spirit of Mohegan Tribe culture guides the path toward prosperity and, in turn, giving back. In 2019 alone, Mohegan’s North America properties generated a total of $5.2 billion in local economic activity as well generating $760 million dollars for state, provincial, and local governments in the United States and Canada. Mohegan’s properties include the Tribe’s flagship property Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut, Mohegan Sun Pocono in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, right in the heart of the region. The memorable beauty of Niagara Falls sets the stage for Mohegan Niagara, housing both the Fallsview Casino Resort and Casino Niagara in Ontario, Canada And in 2024, Mohegan expanded to Southeast Asia with the Inspire Resort in South Korea. This will be a first-of-its-kind, $5 billion resort featuring a remarkable three-tower luxury hotel, premier dining, shopping, foreign-only casino, convention center and the largest entertainment arena in the entire country. Working with Government and Investing in Our Communities

When Mohegan Sun began operating in Uncasville in 1996, we were excited to bring sustainable, quality employment opportunities to Southeastern Connecticut. As we’ve grown, we are continuing to expand our workforce and forge new partnerships with local businesses and vendors throughout the region.

Most recently, we partnered with many local and state public officials to help legalize online gaming and sports wagering in Connecticut. According to the Governor’s office, this will generate tens of millions of dollars in new revenue for the state. We are thrilled to be able to offer modernized gaming that helps our state economy recover quickly from the pandemic.

While we are proud of our unique heritage and customs, the Mohegan Tribe is by no means an insular group. In fact, working with and investing in our neighborhoods and communities across Connecticut is one of the Tribe’s leading principles.
